Jacky and Gerry are on the Road!

I lived at Gemini Apartments in Burleigh Heads for over seven years. It was my home, my yoga studio my TRE space, my office, my teaching space, my clairvoyant space. People used to comment about the calmness of the room as they walked in. I was surrounded by my crystals and my treasures, my stuff! Gerry moved in with me there for nearly a year. It became Our yoga space, our healing space and the place where we got to know each other and enjoyed learning about each other and trying to figure out work-life balance. Then it all changed. My very safe career and steady income were no more, Gerry no longer had a Yoga studio and it was time for a change.

As we moved from Gemini, Gerry surprised me with a very special night at the Novotel in Surfers.

We had friends in Koala Park who offered us their place for a nominal rent for three months. After exhaustively searching for a place on the Gold Coast this seemed like the perfect respite. Three months to relax, make decisions, plan for our future together and develop our yoga business.

We spent a glorious three months in Koala Park, Burleigh Heads, QLD. We were one block from the river, across the main road to the beach. Some of the pictures on this site were taken at those beautiful locations.

House sitting was cool and before we knew it we were looking at doing pet sitting as well. Let everything go, pack up and go where the pets lead us. Simple right? It was sort of that simple. We signed up with pet sitting websites and before we knew it (after holding our breath for a few days waiting for the first response to come in!) we had a few pet-sits organised. Meanwhile, we were formulating ideas for our yoga business.

Leaving Gold Coast

We have now left the Gold Coast and we are on our great adventure! Koala Park is behind us as we head up the M1 Pacific Motorway to Buccan.
