Our journey on Thai Airlines was remarkably uneventful. We flew from Brisbane to Bangkok. Spent a few hours in the Miracle Lounge and continued the journey on the Airbus to London Heathrow.
There we hiked for what seemed like miles to the hire car place to pick up our Hyundai Kona. Then we got lost just a little bit as we headed west instead of north as the address we put on the GPS was in Chiswick as well as Muswell Hill. Finally, we arrived at Dawn and Nigel’s and enjoyed a fabulously warm welcome from Dawn and the rescue dogs, a Hungarian Vissler called Scooby and a German Short Haired Ponter called Luna. Once we were settled in we went off to brunch at The Grove in Alexandra Palais, serenaded by Ciro the cafe owner! What a welcome!
