Manifesting Milton Magic
Since we started house sitting, at times it seemed that things didn’t quite work out coordination wise, as maybe we were too far away from an event or workshop that we wanted to attend or host. We had a gap in our house sits of less than two weeks at the end of March, and it didn’t seem like anything was going to fit in without making it awkward. Finally about a month before the date we got some nibbles coming through and we accepted a house sit for 6 days in Milton, Brisbane. Jacky had already mentioned that she would like to attend the TRE workshop which is held in the same place each year in Paddington, Brisbane. When we finally got accepted for the sit we were told the address was Baroona Road, Milton and the workshop was 400 metres walk to Fernberg Road in Paddington! Timing is everything!
This sit was so meant to be. It ticked all the right boxes. A newly renovated, almost finished home which was really well done. Merging old and new very cleverly with a lovely open airy feel to it, in a very hot week of summer! Even the pool became purple at night time. Our charge was Indie the cat. They are so different from dogs, they like you if they feel like it and are indifferent otherwise. She was a finicky eater and was definitely not a lap cat but she put up with us!
And the TRE Workshop? It was the best one yet. Transformational and very freeing.
