What do you really want in your life?

What do you wish to change?

What would you most like to achieve or manifest this year?

The truth is, it does not matter what you want, or how much you want it, the one thing standing in the way of it is usually YOU!

Yes really!

Let me explain – coming from my own belief system and see how it fits for you.

Your brother is a pain, your mother means well but is creating issues between you and your husband. One of the kids is going wild, they were all brought up the same way but this one is just so challenging. Your teenager won’t talk to you anymore and you just can’t seem to find a common ground. Even the dog is playing up! And work? Your boss has unrealistic expectations and your co-worker seems to always be on her cigarette break. Life just doesn’t seem fair.

Guess what?

You can change all that. You can really!

How?

By taking a good long look at yourself! It is not everyone else’s fault that they are behaving as they do.

You have been put on this earth to learn. Life is a series of lessons and once each lesson is learned you do not have to keep having the same experiences. You may get tweaks and reminders from time to time but if you understand what you need to learn from each situation and have gratitude for the lesson, the lesson is learned. Finish! Guess who is your teacher in those lessons? Yes, all those people around you. Every person you meet, every encounter you have is a button pushed and an opportunity to learn and grow and develop yourself. No matter how challenging that may be.

Once you start to understand that, you have a much better awareness of how your behaviour affects others and your tendency to get stressed by the actions or personality of others. But you are still scratching your head and asking, “Well what do I have to do in order to learn the lessons?” For most of you, you were born with no memory so you don’t know what you are here to learn. But when you start to understand more about who you REALLY are, you become better equipped to deal with ‘life’. ( I say most of you because I believe some of the children born since 2000 absolutely know why they are here. But that is another blog for another day.)

This is where Numerology can open the door to your own awareness

I have been reading Tarot since 1998 but when I started exploring how to use Numerology several years later, a whole new door to awareness opened up.

It’s a huge subject and I started out with Life Path Numerology. I was fascinated to discover that understanding the meaning of the numbers in your date of birth allows you to discover your qualities, your weaknesses, your traits and patterns. Once armed with that information it becomes very clear why you get your buttons pushed by certain people and why you really resonate with others. Each person has their own unique numerology too so their personality can also be figured out using the numbers. This helps you have a much better understanding of people and how to relate to them. If you have an artistic child, why push them into being an engineer? If your employee is a shy personality, don’t make her the manager. Give her the behind the scenes role which she will do so well and feel comfortable with. Know who the leaders are and enjoy the nurturers.

Let me give you an example.

I am born on 14 March 1958. 1+4+3+1+9+5+8

My numbers add up to 31. Add the 3+1 to get 4

So I am a Lifepath 31/4 with a 14/5 (1+4=5) Birthday Number.

4s are very hard workers and can sometimes be their own worst enemies because they won’t take time for themselves – always work to do. They can be serious, they are organised and task-oriented and usually only have a few close friends. They can be the “poor me” in Numerology. “Why do I always have to do it? Why do I have to work so hard to be successful?” But they are truthful and dependable as long as they have security.

Then I look at my 5 Birthday number. 5s are very sociable and love being around people. They make good managers as they inspire others and work well in a team. They can spend so much time looking after everyone else’s needs that they often neglect their own. They have deeply running emotions which need to be expressed. For 5s, variety is the spice of life and they love to socialise, travel and have new experiences.

So already you can see that I have two conflicting sides to my personality and learning to balance those aspects of myself will create a more harmonious me. Every number tells a story that reveals a bit more of your character. We have not even touched on the Blueprint which shows that every number in your date of birth also has a meaning. You start to get a really clear picture of all the aspects of who you are, and what works or may not work for you.

Add to that the numerology of your family, your partner, your work colleagues, your friends and you start to see why Miss 8 is so ambitious or why Lover 7 is not very romantic. It always fascinates me in a reading when I do the Numerology for the kids and see how they can be so completely different. A 4 child needs security and a firm foundation so if your relationship splits, it will affect them more than a 5 child. 6s don’t like changing things too much. So you understand why your 6 friend has been in the same job for 20 years and still lives in her little flat she bought back in 1980!

Once you understand your Numerology personality it can set you free. If Mum can’t handle changes, don’t keep suggesting them. If your partner is always working (8 or 4), make sure you have a really beautiful environment for them to come home to. Plan little fun things to do together to enhance your relationship. 8s love praise, so give them a pat on the back – often.

Of course, non-judgement is also important. “Oh, I can’t be with you because you are a 6 and you won’t want to change things”. Not quite! Each person is made up of many numbers. So awareness of the combinations and meanings leads to enlightenment in your relationships with others. That’s where a reading with me gives you so much insight.
