Psychic Insights

I don’t feel like I was born psychic. A religious Dad and a rather closed-down Mum, neither of them were interested in anything metaphysical. I dabbled with a bit of astrology in my earlier years but was happier to receive it than to learn for myself. When I turned forty I was gaining interest in aromatherapy and realising more and more about the power of our thoughts and how intuition was a gift. That’s when I became more enlightened and everything spiritual started to drop into place. I met some beautiful brothers and sisters through various groups (I was in Palmerston North in NZ at that time) and when I met Cheryl Robin Freeman I was in awe of her gifts and her commitment. I signed up for Reiki, White Eagle Healing, healing and meditation groups, Psychic Development, and for Spiritual growth. I was a sponge for her teachings. I had so much to learn.

When I began my psychic training in NZ, back around 1998, I had a very strict spiritual teacher, (Cheryl). As part of our psychic training, we were not allowed to eat for 2 hours before class. We had to arrive 15 mins early for class and sit in the car, chanting a mantra she had given us. We were not allowed to make eye contact with anyone in the waiting cars. When we arrived we had to walk around the house and go in through the door, removing our shoes. As we stepped inside our teacher anointed our feet with oil and we had to deposit the exact amount of cash in the basket. When we went into the room we had to sit down in complete silence, with no eye contact with other students. Once seated we had to stare into the candle flame in the middle of the room, try not to blink as we brought into consciousness 5 things we could see, 5 things we could hear, 5 things we could taste, 5 things we could smell and 5 things we could hear. My classes were in the middle of winter and there was no heating allowed. It was very cold! Once we channelled in all these things we closed our eyes and stayed in meditation until the teacher brought us all out of the meditation together, knowing that she may ask any one of us what we had experienced. Then the class commenced.

I am much easier on my psychic students but I have to tell you, my psychic ability increased exponentially from this weekly practice. I still have notes from those original classes – handwritten.

I now love to teach and share the gifts I received from my many teachers and mentors. I was so blessed at that time as all my teachers were about love and healing and blessed with the biggest hearts. I learned from a place of love, the deepest and most expanded esoteric teachings.

I thank them all for their commitment to my growth. What a special journey I have had.
